Why Helix exists
Most peptides today are sourced from grey-market suppliers: untested, unregulated, and quietly unsafe.
Helix exists because peptide therapy deserves to be practiced as medicine. That means a real prescribing relationship with a licensed physician, a careful formulary, and dispensing through a licensed compounding pharmacy, not a research site, not a wellness influencer, not a gym.

How Helix is different
A small practice, run with intention.
Real physician relationship
Dr. Luria evaluates every patient individually and prescribes what's clinically right for you. You work with the same physician at every visit: real judgment, and real continuity of care.
Careful formulary
Helix prescribes peptides with stable regulatory standing and meaningful clinical evidence. The formulary is intentionally focused and chosen with care, and it grows as the science does.
Real ongoing care
Protocols evolve based on how you respond. Monitoring continues after your medication ships, and Dr. Luria adjusts your protocol as your goals and results develop over time.

Practice founder
Dr. Jamie Luria, MD
Jamie Luria is a board-certified physician with more than a decade of clinical experience across hospital and outpatient medicine. He spent years watching patients piece together peptide protocols from research-chemical websites and unvetted clinics, and decided there should be a better option.
He founded Helix to practice the careful, evidence-based peptide medicine he believed was missing from the market: a real prescribing relationship, a considered formulary, and ongoing care that doesn't end when the package ships.
The Helix process
Three steps. One physician. Ongoing care.
From the first consultation through every protocol revision, you work with the same physician. There is no hand-off, no rotating roster of providers, no algorithm deciding your dose.

What states does Helix serve?
Do I have to get new bloodwork done at Quest or LabCorp before starting with Helix?
It depends on the protocol Dr. Luria is considering and what your existing bloodwork covers. If you've had comprehensive labs drawn recently, typically within the last 90–180 days, depending on the markers, Dr. Luria reviews them during your consultation and tells you whether they're sufficient for safe prescribing.
For some protocols, specific baseline markers are clinically essential before Dr. Luria will prescribe. For others, your existing bloodwork plus a thorough history may be enough. The decision about what counts as adequate evaluation is Dr. Luria's, not a checklist Helix runs.
If your existing labs cover what's needed, you save the cost of redrawing. If they're partially sufficient, you'll only need to add the missing markers, not redo the full panel. If your situation calls for new labs entirely, Helix can order what's needed at direct-to-patient pricing.
The reason this matters: bloodwork at Quest or LabCorp out of pocket can run $200–400 for a comprehensive panel. Where existing labs are clinically usable, we'd rather respect them than charge you to repeat work. Where they aren't, Dr. Luria will tell you exactly why.
